Founded on 18 August 1980 by the Joharimal Public Charitable Trust in memory of Late Smt. Emarti Devi, this college was envisioned to empower women through higher education. Starting with just 55 students, it has since grown into a prominent institution, now affiliated with Rama Devi Women’s University, and recognized by the UGC. It earned a NAAC ‘B’ grade in 2005.
